Payment Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms governs the rights and obligations between You as the Customer and the Payments service offered by the Hococo platform via Stripe. The platform provides purchase and payment functionality for Service payments. Hococo is not liable for damages within the scope of the contractual relationship between You and Stripe.

2. Services

Hococo can provide services through the platform. The contract between You and Hococo, relating to the Service order, is concluded at the time when we receive full payment from You through the payment method (or in case of Amenity – amount is blocked on your account). Unless stated otherwise, the shown Price contains all fees and taxes and its final.

3. Termination and temporarily disabling connected account

Hococo can at any time pause or terminate the Payment service or connected account if there is any suspicion of violation or breach of good behaviour; in such cases we are obliged to notify You immediately to your email address.

You (the connected account merchant) always have the right to cancel the Payments agreement, relating to the purchase of the Service, until the cancellation period lapses (if applicable), by email sent to Hococo.

4. Obligations:

We, Hococo, are obliged to act in accordance with the consumer rights legislation with respect to the law governing the particular contract concluded between You and Hococo.

It is entirely the connected accounts responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds to pay for refunds, chargebacks etc.

Hococo payment services uses Stripe as a 3rd party payment platform, which includes refunds, chargebacks, cancellations and dispute resolution. In the event the dispute is raised, Hococo will offer the first line of support, the responsibility and help defend the dispute if appropriate. This does not mean Hococo is liable or has any liability towards missing payments. In the case that a dispute, chargeback, non-paid fees or refunds is resulting in a negative balance for Hococo, the connected account / merchant will be held liable and invoiced either through the Payments platform or alternatively through the standard subscription.

5. Support:

6. Pricing:

Hococo charges a fee of 3,5% per transaction. All fees are deducted before payout. Stripe charges a per-transaction pricing based on type of payment method, currency and issuing country. Updated payment pricing can always be found here: https://stripe.com/en-gb-dk/pricing

7. Changes to terms and conditions:

Terms and conditions are subject to change. Hococo will always give 1 month's notice for and changes to the payments terms and conditions.
